From the United Nations High Commission on Refugees:

We are now witnessing the highest levels of displacement on record.

An unprecedented 65.3 million people around the world have been forced from home. Among them are nearly 21.3 million refugees, over half of whom are under the age of 18.

Watch the video linked below to learn more about the current refugee crisis

Happy Holidays!

The seasons are changing yet again, and we find ourselves moving rapidly toward the winter holidays. As we gather with family and friends, recognizing those things and people for which we are thankful, let us also remember to show thankfulness and kindness to our refugee neighbors. Consider sending them food, inviting them to a holiday celebration with your family, or going with them to a local holiday festival or event. Your refugee neighbors may not know about our holiday traditions and could miss out on the blessings of being with kind people, eating good food, and expressing gratitude and thankfulness for all we have.
News & Updates

We are thrilled to announce that all of our kids have been matched with host families! We will not be matching new host families with youth until January or February of 2017. Those interested in this program can still submit applications during this period, they will just be placed on a waitlist.

We are still in need of more foster families for our Long-Term Foster Care program.
We live in the age of the refugee, the age of the exile.
