2016 International Year Code is D

The September issue will feature the North American Limousin Junior Association and will highlight coverage from the Kentucky Cattle Drive. This issue does have an increased circulation as each NALJA family receives one free copy. Be sure to promote your upcoming sales, next year’s show heifer prospects, and the successes of last week with an advertisement in this all important junior issue. The advertising deadline is August 1.

Simply click this link to download an MP4 file of the video. The video file is nearly 2 GB so it may take a few moments to download. Downloading a copy of the closing video is a free service brought to you by Limousin Media.

Press releases and videos from last week’s Kentucky Cattle Drive junior show and All-American Limousin Futurity are available from the Limousin Media team. Press releases, which were sent out to agriculture press, are available under the "Latest News" section of

The National Institute for Animal Agriculture (NIAA) and United States Animal Health Association (USAHA) have partnered together to create a website, InterstateLivestock.com, which provides current rules and regulations for anyone shipping cattle across state lines.

Interstate Livestock is the one-stop resource for finding requirements to move animals across state lines! The site is in its first phase - featuring cattle movement regulations for all 50 states, and designed to provide quick results. Best of all, it’s free! Anyone involved in cattle movements can easily prepare to meet the necessary requirements. No more reading through regulations or waiting until normal business hours to call the state – the information is available 24/7 at your fingertips.
Some common applications include:

  • Veterinarians
  • Livestock Markets
  • Seed stock sales
  • Cattle buyers
  • Exhibitions and Fairs
  • Private treaty
The mobile and desktop friendly site provides you with a simple Q&A process to narrow down your requirements for your specific situation. The site also provides an interactive, map based tagging site finder to help get your stock properly identified when entering commerce.
