Incident Update #1
Twitter hack - unfortunately, @start_coin twitter account has been compromised since Friday 3rd evening around 6pm.
The current status is that we are working with Twitter to regain access, although assuming that due to the volume of twitter hacks over this weekend, this continues to be an ongoing process at the moment.
We are keeping calm and letting Twitter do their thing.
This is part of a larger attack on an employee's data, which has raised overall security concerns. However, we reiterate that users' coins are safe and will be available for access once operations resume.
Further checks are being conducted with the aid of an independent security body and once we are confident with the progress, operations will resume.
As security checks continue, this may disrupt some services that are part of SCH, eg. StartWallet, but once checks are completed, the disruption shall cease.
2FA - System restore on Thurs/Fri (2nd/3rd) means that some users who re-enabled 2FA in the few days previous will likely have conflicting tokens and may have trouble accessing their account at the moment. If that's the case, please contact us and we will resolve it for you.
We are keeping the same timeline, where a detailed summary of the last two weeks at SCH will be available via the newsletter - look out for Thursday!
Anybody who is concerned, or wish to clarify the status of their activities, please contact us via email@example.com.
