CEO Newsletter | September 2016

Dear EIT Health partners,

I would like to thank all EIT Health partners for their trust and approval of our Business Plan 2017. The ambitious plan, which will be submitted to EIT this week for their approval, will see increased cooperation among the growing number of EIT Health partners.

It has been a pleasure to welcome three new EIT Health partners: Beiersdorf from Hamburg, E-Group from Budapest and GLINTT from Lisbon. These firms were approved as EIT Health Associate partners over the summer, bringing the total number of partners to 136 – including 53 Core partners and 83 Associate partners. More important than the number of partners is the depth of their participation. Based on our 2017 Business Plan, more than 70% of of EIT Health’s partners, including almost 90% of our Core partners, will be involved in active projects by next year.

A hearty welcome also goes out to Jean Marc Bourez, who has been nominated as the new Managing Director of EIT Health France and EIT Health Management Board member. Jean Marc is already well integrated into our network, as he has been the representative of SANOFI within EIT Health France and has taken an important role in developing and managing various activities for our community. Jean Marc will start his full responsibility on 3 October.

"I would like to thank those who participated in the EIT Health Partner Assembly today for their trust and approval of our Business Plan 2017."

Sylvie Bove
CEO EIT Health e.V.
