CEO Newsletter | January 2017

Dear EIT Health partners,

While many 2017 activities are just getting started, we are also working in parallel to prepare for 2018.

A key event in the Business Plan 2018 Call for proposals process is the 1-3 February Matchmaking event in Uppsala. I look forward to meeting the many partners who will join us in Sweden, and to hearing about the exciting projects that will come out of their face-to-face meetings. As of 27 January, 462 matches had been lined up. Along with these meetings, there will also be thematic workshops, group matchmaking sessions, a design thinking workshop and other networking opportunities.

The Matchmaking event is fully booked, and the interest exceeded the available spaces, but those who cannot come to the event themselves can read partner profiles of the participants here and see the profiles of the types of project cooperation that is being sought and offered here.

Anyone who would like to know more about the call process can watch informative webinars here.

Whether or not you attend the Matchmaking event, you have until the last day of the Uppsala gathering, 3 February, to answer the EIT Health partners survey. Share your opinions on the November Summit, EIT Health’s communication tools and other services and operations, as well as the effectiveness of the activities in the three Pillars: the Accelerator, Campus and Innovation Projects.

Of course the goal of the survey is to help us improve, so that we can better serve our community and facilitate cooperation among our partners. We hope you’ll take the time to fill out the Survey, which is online here.

"We anticipate exciting projects out of the matchmaking between partners that will take place in Uppsala starting 1 February."
