Ladies and Gentlemen,
It all sounds so innocent and helpful. The U.S. Federal government is initiating a nation-wide wireless broadband system for first responders.
First responders are always local - police and fire services and ambulances. The question should be: Why would the Federal government intrude in local services? If the difficulties posed by hurricane Katrina in New Orleans is a benchmark, Federal assistance proved to be too little, too late and the people of New Orleans suffered as a result. Even then-president, George Bush, was in no hurry to visit.
Further, overtures by FirstNet to Canadian officials to expand FirstNet’s capabilities beyond U.S borders, gives rise to questions about the true nature of plans for the future.
The fact that AT&T anticipates the implementation of 5G technology without regard for human health against the warnings of scientists and doctors reveals that government power and corporate profits are being put before the welfare of citizens - the very people who are paying the bill.
Another question is the ultimate use of FirstNet's capabilities. To what degree is surveillance included? For visitors to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) site, for example, while titles of documents are provided, access to their content is denied. Simultaneously internet privacy for individuals has been removed by Congress (see below).
The failure of the Smart Meter case brought by Virginia Farver in Colorado should also raise questions. An appeal is the obvious next step. But how much can one individual sacrifice - after losing her son - to be expected to carry on the fight. Organizations soliciting funds from the public should row in behind Mrs. Farver if they mean what they say. Idealism is fine when fund-raising. Those with funds should support individuals like Mrs. Farver and Arthur Firstenberg (who was nearly bankrupted) in the pursuit of justice.
No disrespect is intended to members of the LGBT community by addressing this version of EMF Updates to Ladies and Gentlemen. Everyone is affected by the issues raised here. As Josh del Sol notes in his bulletin,
Keep speaking truth.
Forget being PC.
Forget wanting to avoid uncomfortable conversations.
The hour is getting late.
What lies behind the push for
a Federal first-responder's network?
FirstNet partners with AT&T to build $46.5 billion wireless broadband network for America’s first responders
Secretary Ross's announcement regarding dedicated public safety public safety broadband network
On March 30, 2017, the Department of Commerce and First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) announced the selection of AT&T to build the first nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to America’s first responders. Speakers at the announcement event included Secretary Wilbur Ross, Congressman Greg Walden, Congresswoman Susan Brooks, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, FirstNet board members, and public safety officers and first responders.
“As you can probably guess by whom I'm joined on the stage, it's my honor to announce this morning the public-private partnership between FirstNet and AT&T to build this network.... We're eager to engage our commercial partner AT&T who will build and operate the network.”
AT&T selected by FirstNet to build and manage America’s first nationwide public safety broadband network dedicated to first responders
FirstNet and AT&T will innovate and evolve the network to keep the public safety community at the forefront of technology advances. For example, as 5G network capabilities develop in the coming years, FirstNet and AT&T will work together to provide the exponential increases in the speed with which video and data travel across the FirstNet network.
To help FirstNet achieve its public safety mission, AT&T has assembled a team that includes Motorola Solutions, General Dynamics, Sapient Consulting and Inmarsat Government.
Virginia Farver loses Smart Meter case in Colorado
Mrs. Farver reports: Well I was hoping for a different outcome but I lost my case. Judge Lammons from the 8th District Court here in Larimer County CO., ruled in the Defendant's favor. Mark Graham from Sacramento, CA and I had a conference call with my Assistant City Manager in spring of 2015. There were four others also on this call from the City of Fort Collins. Jeff told both of us on the phone that, "The City of Fort Collins City Council had no resolution / ordinance where it shows they approved the smart grid program." I started to laugh at him and asked him to put this in writing and send it my way. I did receive this letter and it was signed by Jeff. All very good evidence for sure. This will show you how messed up our current legal system is here in CO.
This will be a good paper trail for a class action at some point! I had a case management conference at the court with this judge and the lawyers working for the City and including the City Attorney. The conference was at the court house with Judge Lammons last July. Judge Lammons mentioned that he had no say in how the City conducts its business, but he is here to make sure they follow the State Constitution and the United States Constitution. Here in CO there is a 1972 Sunshine Law where our cities are supposed to hold public meetings, which we new they violated.
The judge’s verdict
The parties disagree about what Mr. Duval's letter means. Plaintiff reads the phrase, "the choice and decision of what kind of electric meters is to be used by the Electric Utility has clearly been delegated," to mean the Council delegated away the authority to make policy decisions, such as authorizing the Project." However, Plaintiff concedes her claim is an "inference" that the "decision to move forward with the Project was made by the Fort Collins Electric Utility . . . [a]bsent an ordinance, resolution or motion from the City Council authorizing the AMFC Project.". (Amended Complaint 143.) "Inferences" do not meet a nonmoving party's shifted burden on summary judgment.
Plaintiff, again, fails to meet her shifted burden. She offers only speculation and self-serving argument to support her claim. Mr. Duval's letter does not establish a dispute as to any material fact essential to Plaintiff's claim. Mr. Duval's letter states any decisions made as to electric meters are subject to appropriation of funds by the City Council. Plaintiff's Complaint and Response to Defendants' Motion is unsupported by any evidence - counter-affidavits or otherwise - that meets the requirements of C.R.C.P. 56(e). Plaintiff offers no evidence that is sworn, competent and based on personal knowledge, and that sets forth facts that would be admissible at trial. Plaintiff's "inference" that the choice of electric meter is the policy-decision to authorize the Project is, again, merely argument which is insufficient to survive summary judgment.
Accordingly, Defendants are entitled to summary judgment on Plaintiff's fifth cause of action, and the Court grants the Defendants' Motion for Summary Judgment.
The Court enters summary judgment on all claims in favor of the Defendants and against the Plaintiff.

Internet privacy rules removed by Congress
Brendan McDermid / Reuters
Internet providers will not be required to ask permission to sell customers' browsing habits, including medical information, shopping habits and even pornography preferences after Congress voted to roll back Obama-era regulations.
The House of Representatives voted 215 to 205 in favor of eliminating restrictions of internet service providers (ISP) and their ability to sell their customer’s information on Tuesday. The protections were planned to be enacted by the end of 2017 and would have forced ISPs to get permission from their customers before selling their internet browsing and app habits to advertisers.
The vote was largely bipartisan, with those in favor being exclusively Republican. However, several Republican lawmakers crossed over to vote against eliminating the privacy measures. Last Thursday, a Senate vote set the stage for the House of Representatives to send the bill to President Donald Trump’s desk after they voted exclusively on party lines against the measures.
Cell tower meetings in Sleepy Hollow under investigation
The Illinois Attorney General's office is looking into whether Sleepy Hollow trustees violated the state's open meetings act when they met in two closed sessions preceding a vote to approve construction of a 125-foot cell tower on village-owned property.
Former trustee Tom Merkel asked that executive sessions in March and September 2016 be investigated on the basis of what was discussed and who attended.
"We have determined that further action is warranted to assess whether the board's closed-session discussions of a proposed cell tower ... were fully authorized," said Josh Jones, Public Access Bureau supervising attorney, in a March 17 letter to Village President Stephan Pickett.
Deceptive smart meters – False readings up to 528 percent higher than actual energy consumption
(NaturalHealth365) Over 50 million so-called smart meters have already been installed in homes across the United States – and the number increases daily. Although some herald them as an ‘energy-efficient’ way to help consumers reduce electric bills, many public health and safety advocates are fighting to expose the grim truth: “smart” meters present a grave threat to human health and personal privacy.
Now, research reveals that these brand new, digital meters – being placed on homes throughout the world – can be wildly inaccurate in their assessment of energy usage. (costing consumers way more money in energy bills)
Dutch study yields jaw-dropping results about smart meters
Just as in America, smart meters, or “static energy meters,” are replacing traditional electromechanical energy meters all across the Netherlands. In fact, the Dutch government has announced its goal of having these digital meters in every household in the country by 2020 – a mere three years away.
In both the United States and the Netherlands, many consumers have insisted that the new electronic energy meters yield excessively high readings. In a new study published in the scientific journal IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Magazine and conducted by the University of Twente and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, researchers found that they were right.
New York bill would allow people to opt out of Smart Meters, undermine Federal program
A bill introduced in the New York Assembly would allow customers to opt out of installing “smart meter” technology on their homes and businesses. Passage of this bill would allow New Yorkers to protect their own privacy, and it would take a step toward blocking a federal program in effect.
Asm. Michael DenDekker (D – East Elmhurst) introduced Assembly Bill 6464 (A6464) on March 7 The legislation would allow New Yorkers to opt out of any utility company smart meter program with no penalty.
Smart meters monitor home energy usage in minute detail in real time. The devices transmit data to the utility company were it gets stored in databases. Anybody with access to the data can download it for analysts. Without specific criteria limiting access to the data, these devices create significant privacy issues. Smart meters can also be used to remotely limit power usage during peak hours.

Quadriplegic man's arm and hand brought back to life by thought-control tech
During trials Bill Kochevar grasped and lifted objects after having dozens of electrodes implanted in his brain and right arm.
A quadriplegic man has had his right arm and hand brought back to life with the help of thought-control technology.
Bill Kochevar, 56, was paralysed below his shoulders in a cycling accident eight years ago but can now grasp and lift objects after having two pill-sized electrodes implanted in his brain.
The electrodes record the activity of brain neurons to generate signals that tell another device to stimulate muscles in the paralysed limb.
During trials held at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr Kochevar raised a mug of water to his lips and drank from a straw.

The decline of domestic bees all over the world is an important problem still not well understood by scientists and beekeepers, and far from being solved. Its reasons are numerous: among others, the use of pesticides and insecticides, the decrease of plant diversity, and bee’s parasites. Besides these threats, there is a potential adverse factor little considered: manmade electromagnetism. The production of electromagnetic waves by human settlements, cellphones relay and power lines largely increases nowadays. Bees are very sensitive to this electromagnetism. The present paper suggests two simple experimental protocols for bringing to the fore the potential adverse effect of electromagnetism on bees and to act consequently. The first one is the observation of bees’ avoidance of a wireless apparatus; the second one is the assessment of colonies’ strength and of the intensity of the electromagnetism field (EMF) surrounding them. If bees avoid a wireless apparatus, if hives in bad health are located in EMF of a rather high intensity, it can be presumed that bees are affected by manmade electromagnetism. This should enable searching for palliative measures.

I love the convenience that technology can bring. But, in addition to the privacy and security concerns, the independent science says that wireless radiation can and does cause negative biological effects — especially to children.
(I don't think I'm alone when I observe how crazy and illogical much of our world has become, co-incidentally in the past 20 or so years since cell towers started popping up everywhere. Have you noticed this, too?)
However, schools continue to needlessly deploy wireless in the classroom. And industry (and their governments) are desperately ramping up to "5G", with higher frequencies and millions of additional small cell sites, without doing any testing.
So, this is a conversation for us all.
CBC's compelling investigation shows:
• The top 3 phones all exceeded industry's own safety limit when tested next to the body.
• The wireless industry's negligence in preventing people learning about the fine print safety guidelines —which are in their own product manuals.
• Devra Davis (EH Trust), Frank Clegg (former President, Microsoft Canada), Dr. Jacob Easaw (neuro-oncologist), and the landmark Right-To-Know ordinance in Berkeley.

The transformation of our nation into a surveillance state is almost complete
Authored by Jeremiah Johnson (nom de plume of a retired Green Beret of the United States Army Special Forces) via SHTFplan.com
The headlines are awash with the recent tensions with North Korea, and most are focused intently upon this act of the play that has been running hot for several years, now. Akin to the proverbial frog in cold water, however, we are not paying as much attention to the surveillance state that is continuing to wrap its tentacles around us. Eurasia is our ally, Eastasia is our enemy…and nobody notices that the chocolate ration has been diminished. While everyone focuses on what is reported in the headline news, everybody misses what is happening right before their eyes.
Point of Sale is the new jail, the ubiquitous surveillance system that records your every purchase and stores it in a personal database…an algorithm…in the government storage facility in Utah. Look above that register. It doesn’t matter whether you have a debit or credit purchase or not. Paying cash? Your anonymity only lasts until your image is captured in the little black dome camera right above your head…right next to the register. The sale is recorded, as well as your image.
Now the biometrics are becoming advanced enough to be able to measure the spacing between your eyes, the shapes of the ears, and other idiosyncrasies that are peculiar to each individual. But these differences do not matter, as long as they can be catalogued. All the states pretty much have Real ID, now, with driver’s licenses all linked into a central database and passed through the fusion centers and police departments at local, state, and national level. 1984 is now.
Trump can’t stop it: ‘The people who have been orchestrating the collapse have not halted their agendas”
The surveillance state did not disappear with the Trump victory: ‘It is still lurking and completely intact”
The left-right Deep State is one in the same: ‘The goal is the enslavement and complete control of all of mankind’
Why do millions of people continue to use Smart Phones & Wi-Fi devices when the health damaging effects are so well known?
A few days ago, we were visited by a man we've known for 20 years. He's a very smart guy who got his doctorate in the mid 1970's He taught advanced math at many universities and is aware of a lot of things - except the health damaging effects of microwave radiation. He used to have a flip cell phone which he always placed against his ear when talking on it. Now he places a brand new smart phone against his ear as he radiates his brain with 10,000 to 100,000 microwatts of microwave radiation. Swiss and Austrian EMF safety authorities had established ONE microwatt per meter square (1uw/m2) as the safe upper limit for human exposure to microwave energy fields. As shown in the Bioinitiative Report of 2012 and many other studies, biological damaging effects from microwave energy fields start showing up at sustained exposure levels of around 3.5 microwatts.
It's easy to measure the intensity of microwave energy fields with a meter designed for the job such as the economical Acousticom2 ($250) or the more expensive Acoustimeter AM-10 ($470) seen in the videos below or the German made HF35C ($430) which I used in a 2012 article on shielding against Smart meter radiation. It's nice to have your own meter because you can then make the tests yourself and verify that the meter readings shown in dozens (or perhaps hundreds) of Youtube videos are accurate on the dangers of microwave energy coming off smart phones, cell phones and WiFi routers. However, you don't have to buy your own meter to verify the facts because the Youtube video readings tell the story, as I've checked cell phones, smart phones, wifi routers, and smart meters with an Acoustimeter which I borrowed, and I'm seeing the same levels of microwave radiation as shown in the videos.
Here's the part I don't understand: Why do so many people continue to use smart phones as if there was no reason to be concerned? Why are so many people completely unaware of, and seemingly oblivious to the biological damage being done to their body from microwave radiation coming off their smart phone or WiFi router? Who do they think would alert them to the biological damage caused by microwave energy fields if not ordinary people via Youtube videos? The manufacturers of smart phones or WiFi routers? The companies who erect and maintain cell phone networks and towers? The corporate-owned, lobbyist-bribed plutocracy that we call the "government?"

Facial recognition in the toilet: Asia’s restrooms are going high tech
You can't get too greedy with toilet paper — the scanners are watching
It seems everything is receiving a technology upgrade nowadays, and public restrooms might be the next target. Whether it’s to fight toilet paper thieves or show which stalls are occupied, the next time you go pee there may be technology watching over you.
Authorities in China are adding facial recognition toilet paper dispensers in some public restrooms to stop visitors from stealing entire rolls of toilet paper. The high-tech dispensers work by scanning the face of visitors upon first entering the restroom. Once the person stands in front of the computer for three seconds, it’ll dispense a two-feet long sheet of paper. Visitors will have to be resourceful with the amount they get because the machine won’t give toilet paper twice to the same person for nine minutes.Geoengineering

As geoengineer advocates enter Trump administration, plans advance to spray sun-reflecting chemicals into atmosphere
Harvard engineers who launched the world’s biggest solar geoengineering research program may get a dangerous boost from Donald Trump, environmental organizations are warning.
Under the Trump administration, enthusiasm appears to be growing for the controversial technology of solar geo-engineering, which aims to spray sulphate particles into the atmosphere to reflect the sun’s radiation back to space and decrease the temperature of Earth.
Sometime in 2018, Harvard engineers David Keith and Frank Keutsch hope to test spraying from a high-altitude balloon over Arizona, in order to assess the risks and benefits of deployment on a larger scale.

I'm not quite sure how to respond to this.
1. Is it a conspiracy theory? No, I don't think so.
2. Are they spraying (seeding clouds) to control the weather? Silver and aluminum oxide has been found on the highest mountain tops and these are not naturally occurring elements.
Gasses collect under the plasma layer of the ionosphere according to there atomic weight and scientists believe there is a chemical reaction going on due to the solar energy heating the plasma layer exciting the electrons in the gasses below the plasma layer. However, little is known about how the ionosphere reacts so fast to changes or what the end result of the chemical reaction is or how we have upset the balance through the pollution corporations have created. We have also cut down most of the worlds forests that create the oxygen all living things need to survive. Obviously we as humans need more information as to how to turn this problem around, but corporations would rather not admit the easy solution and be held accountable for cleaning up the mess they have created and scientists in the effort to gain funding from corporations for a solution may be the very thing that destroys all of us.
3. Is this tech causing problems or creating a new pollution? Yes. This is changing the PH of soil, so to effect plant growth and thus effects our food supply. It would also effect the natural growing cycle of all plant life and the air we breathe. It may also be creating the erratic weather we have been seeing the last few years along with dying trees and shrubs we have all seen locally.

5G to encompass all wireless. Communication implants in people will use 5G
Industry plan is to combine all wireless connectivity together into 5G. This will be expensive, and maybe end free wi-fi as written below.
If you haven't heard about 5G yet, it is the use of millimeter waves which enables faster speeds (enabling virtual reality). Because it is using frequencies which don't travel as far as current cell phone and wi-fi signals or penetrate buildings as well, implementation will require many small cell towers just a few hundred feet apart everywhere, including residential zones. 200 meters apart maximum, 100 meters for autonomous vehicles. Several small cells will be deployed every block
Also, people with communication implants will be able to connect to 5G directly too.
If you have not heard about communication implants for people, here's an article about that
that mentions wireless communication implants have been used to help people with Alzheimer's. No doubt medical communication implants will be used as justification for 5G.
The irony is that there are many scientific studies that have shown that wireless radiation can increase reactive oxygen species as well as cause negative neurological effects.
The California Medical Association, the CA branch of the AMA, wrote this in December 2014 “peer reviewed research has demonstrated adverse biological effects of wireless EMF including single and double stranded DNA breaks, creation of reactive oxygen species, immune dysfunction, cognitive processing effects, stress protein synthesis in the brain, altered brain development, sleep and memory disturbances, ADHD, abnormal behavior, sperm dysfunction, and brain tumors”
Epidemiologically, Alzheimer's and dementia has been increasing.
August 2015: Washington Post reports that increased background electromagnetic fields (which includes wireless radiation) could be contributing to an epidemic in neurological diseases, which is particularly acute in the United States. People are developing dementia a decade earlier compared to 20 years ago (2010 vs. 1990) The disease is now regularly diagnosed in people in their late 40s and death rates from early onset dementia are soaring. The problem was particularly acute in the United States, where neurological deaths in men aged over 75 have nearly tripled and in women increased more than fivefold. “The rate of increase in such a short time suggested a silent or even a hidden epidemic, in which environmental factors must play a major part, not just aging.”
Studies on 5G have shown that the sweat ducts in our skin act like antennas for 5G signals.
The number of sweat ducts within human skin varies from two million to four million. "We need to know if 5G increases the risk of skin diseases such as melanoma or other skin cancers," stated Ron Melnick, the National Institutes of Health scientist, now retired, who led the design of the National Toxicology Program study on cell phone radiofrequency radiation. For years, the U.S., Russian and Chinese defense agencies have been developing weapons that rely on the capability of this electromagnetic technology to induce unpleasant burning sensations on the skin as a form of crowd control. Millimeter waves are utilized by the U.S. Army in crowd dispersal guns called Active Denial Systems. People hit with the millimeter waves run away feeling like their body is on fire. The U.S. Department of Defense explains how: "The sensation dissipates when the target moves out of the beam. The sensation is intense enough to cause a nearly instantaneous reflex action of the target to flee the beam."
5G the free Wi-Fi killer
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—5G may be not much more than a moniker for what comes after 4G, but Intel clarified its vision recently at a keynote during the Intel Developer Forum 2015 (IDF, San Francisco, Aug.18-20). "Seamless" is the goal and it comes at a price.
The top-line is that Intel hopes to apply all its expertise in computing, networking and wireless communications to make a seamless 5G solution that incorporates distributed intelligence at all levels--from the smartphone to the router to the basestation aggregator to cloudlets, clouds and our fastest supercomputers.
The bottom line is that cellular, WiFi, centimeter- and millimeter wavelength bands must be seamlessly integrated from the user's point-of-view, according to Aicha Evans, vice president of platform engineering group and general manager of the communications and devices group at Intel.
"5G is not about faster, but about integrating all types of connectivity," Evans told her keynote attendees at IDF. "The building blocks of 5G are already here today."
To the carriers this integration will come at a price, since 5G-for-all presents the opportunity to kill free WiFi and instead charge users for every data packet they send or receive, no matter which of the integrated communications technologies is used. At Evans' keynote she gathered together carriers, service providers and strategists to outline what it is that they expect from 5G, including Alex Choi, chief technical officer (CTO) of SK Telecom (Asia), Bin Shen, Verizon’s vice president of strategy (U.S.) and Paul McNamara, vice president of Ericsson’s corporate strategy group (Europe).
The goal of 5G is to give even meager mobile devices access to the virtually unlimited power available in the cloud. (Source: Intel)
However, before the panel painted the world-changing picture of extraordinary speeds and ultra-low latency--at a price--Intel's Sandra Rivera, vice president of the data center group and general manager of the Internet of Things (IoT) described the benefits of 5G to the users.
"Intelligence will begin with at the base station," Rivera asserted to the crowd at IDF. "Creating more immersive experiences."
Rivera described a society where 50 billion devices--even including people with communications implants--will have sub-millisecond access to service-aware networks whose intelligence will begin by being built-into the basestation. These smart basestations will never get overloaded by transparently handing off excess to nearby resources. For the user, that will mean no more dropped calls--ever--and not more sluggish videos--ever. It will also mean a whole new layer of intelligent applications based on service-aware networks that prioritize requests and automatically annex the resources to fulfill them in realtime.
Aicha Evans, vice president of platform engineering group and general manager of the communications and devices group at Intel explains her vision of 5G. (Source: Intel)
"Software define networking" and "network virtualization," according to Rivera "will be able to seamlessly take advantage of other local resources that have the bandwidth to prevent dropped calls and sluggish videos."
Rivera also made clear that Intel believes it is uniquely positioned to provide the computing power, networking expertise and the wireless communications capabilities to integrate service-aware intelligence across the entire network, from device to the data center using its Network Builders Fast Track program, which will help developers connect everyone in the world by 2020 (using copper, fiber, RF, balloon- and drone-basestations).
Sandra Rivera, vice president of the data center group and general manager of the Internet of Things (IoT) described the benefits of 5G to the users. (Source: Intel)
The panel made it clear that their major metric was speed--which they predicted would be 100-to-1000 times faster with sub-millisecond latency, enabling the kind of realtime interactivity--such as virtual worlds--which today only exist in science fiction books like William Gibson's Neuromancer which virtually defined the concept of cyberspace as a world on a level-playing-field with nature.
Of course, IoT will be driving 5G--from the end of traffic collisions and driverless cars, to smart cities, to smart agro-business, to worldwide access to education, literacy, health and longevity. In the end, however, all these miracles will come at a price, starting with the end of free WiFi and ending with a worldwide regulatory framework under which everybody's life will be made safer and better--at a price yet to be determined.
Along the way, Intel hopes to help accelerate adoption, standardization and intelligent solutions for equipment and device manufacturers, network operators, service providers and academic institutions. Intel is already working alongside the engineering visionaries making 5G happen, including Nokia's AirFrame Data Center, NTT DoCoMo's advanced field trials, SK Telecom's collaborative development of 5G modems using multiple radio access technologies and its Anchor-Booster Cell effort to combine LTE and WiGig. Intel is also a member of a number of research projects including the 5G Public Private Partnership (5GPPP), the Flex5GWare project and Horizon2020.

In an earlier post I mentioned that there will be three different types of spectrum that would be needed for 5G; coverage layer, capacity layer and high throughput layer. There is now a consensus within the industry for this approach.
In a 5G seminar, back in Jan, there were a few speakers who felt that there is an informal agreement about the frequencies that will be used. One such slide from Ofcom could be seen in the picture above. Ofcom has also recently released a report expanding on this further.
Analysys Mason has nicely summarized the bands suggested by Ofcom and possibly available in the UK for 5G in the picture above.
Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA) has also nicely summarised the bands under investigations and trials as follows:
Coverage Layer: 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1.5 GHz, 2.1 GHz, 2.3 GHz and 2.6 GHz
Europe 3400 – 3800 MHz (awarding trial licenses)
China 3300 – 3600 MHz (ongoing trial), 4400 – 4500 MHz, 4800 – 4990 MHz
Japan 3600 – 4200 MHz and 4400-4900 MHz
Korea 3400 – 3700 MHz
USA 3100 – 3550 MHz (and 3700 – 4200 MHz)
High Throughput Layer:
USA: 27.5 – 28.35 GHz and 37 – 40 GHz pre-commercial deployments in 2018
Korea: 26.5 – 29.5 GHz trials in 2018 and commercial deployments in 2019
Japan: 27.5 – 28.28 GHz trials planned from 2017 and potentially commercial deployments in 2020
China: Focusing on 24.25 – 27.5 GHz and 37 – 43.5 GHz studies
Sweden: 26.5 – 27.5 GHz awarding trial licenses for use in 2018 and onwards
EU: 24.25 – 27.5 GHz for commercial deployments from 2020

Another potential band, not being mentioned above is the 66-76GHz spectrum. This band is adjacent to the 60 GHz Wi-Fi (57 GHz - 66 GHz). Lessons learned from that band can be applied to the 5G band too.

The State vs The Deep State - Government Officials Questioning The Smart Grid
Very refreshing to see utilities being grilled by State Representatives.
Bringing the truth about 'opt out fees are to subsidize analogue meters'
and we get into the fact there is No Mandate for wireless meters virtually
If you are in BC, just realize the NDP or Greens could have easily called the BC Liberals out on this 5 years ago, but let it slide. While touch on how the BC Liberals ILLEGALLY went into Federal Jurisdiction, got caught and tried to trick the public out of it.
Maybe, finally after the bills have skyrocketed, spying revelations are becoming true (as predicted) hacking, fires the politicians are realizing just how bad this is.
This was a fun one to be a part of. Thanks goes out to Josh from Take Back Your Power for taking some time to help me with this!
In this video I show you some highlights from Michigan were representatives there are seriously questioning the role, effectiveness, safety and more of the smart grid.
We broke down the highlights and they are a stunning shift to see. They are now crushing the lie of 'people who opt out must pay' and clearly state analogue meters would actually cost tratepayers $84 LESS per year!
It is very clearly shown they are a hacking danger and we point out two of the primary, critical issues with hacking: Remote Disconnect and the lack of Surge Suppression on the meters. Simply put, every or any meter can be controlled by outside forces to literally explode on the side of your house.and this is very easy for even a low level hacker let alone sophisticated ones. No wonder these are now finally being questioned. Maybe they are realizing that these meters are on their own homes and the homes of their loved ones!

Please take a moment to circulate the press release below widely.
Even though it focuses on America, it is relevant for all countries, their politicians and lawmakers. They have probably not seen this information and they cannot make wise decisions without it.
Please also pass this around to all your favorite news outlets. They cannot cover the issue properly if they are not aware of the serious health problems 5G can cause. Industry only talks to them about how "neat" the technology is.
If you know people in the first target cities, please make sure to alert them. If you have time, please also send it to news outlets in those cities. That way, negative health effects caused by 5G are properly attributed. Without that, the rollout will not stop
for information about how wireless can be expected to damage trees and the environment. Congress needs to know. Send them the sample letter
Please help get this information about 5G out. It is really very important that people be made aware that wireless technology, while neat, comes with a potentially very steep price tag. People cannot make educated choices without the knowledge of all the risks. These decisions cannot be made wisely without knowledge of the potential downsides of the technology.
The Silence of the Science
Dr Peter French was Head of Microbiology at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney Australia, around the late 90s and gave convincing evidence at the Senate Inquiry into EMR and health in 2000 of negative findings. He appeared regularly on TV - the archetypally tall dark presentable scientist. After suddenly disappearing from this Hospital and field of work around 2003 he has worked in private companies, now CEO of Bioxyne, where on their website there is is no mention of his previous in vitro work showing cells mutating under exposure from cellphone frequencies. All evidence of his TV appearances have been removed from the internet,
When I worked for Senator Lyn Allison we worked closely with him.
As this happens to every high-flying scientist or doctor, it needs to be tackled. 'The Insider' is a must-see film. Who has the courage? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0140352/
I submit this information in support of the new book 'Corporate ties that bind'
With the upcoming 4 and 5G frequencies it is even more important that we challenge those who have been warned or or paid out, to re-join the battle.
Peter French recently made a long comment the end of an article about the banning of Maryanne Demasi for 'Wi-Fried', see after next link - so he is still involved at an emotional level. Interestingly, his comments differ slightly from those he made to the senate Inquiry hearings - where he said that his experiments showed a causal effect.

The Internet of Things poses human health risks: Scientists question the safety of untested 5G technology at international conference
Replicated research shows that Millimeter waves – used by the Department of Defense in crowd control weapons – interacts with human skin and eyes.
Teton Village, WY -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/09/2017 -- Israeli research studies presented at an international conference reveal that the same electromagnetic frequencies used for crowd control weapons form the foundation of the latest network – branded as 5G – that will tie together more than 50 billion devices as part of the Internet of Things. Current investigations of wireless frequencies in the millimeter and submillimeter range confirm that these waves interact directly with human skin, specifically the sweat glands. Dr. Ben-Ishai of the Department of Physics, Hebrew University, Israel recently detailed how human sweat ducts act like an array of helical antennas when exposed to these wavelengths. Scientists cautioned that before rolling out 5G technologies that use these frequencies, research on human health effects needed to be done first to ensure the public and environment are protected.
"If you are one of the millions who seek faster downloads of movies, games and virtual pornography, a solution is at hand, that is, if you do not mind volunteering your living body in a giant uncontrolled experiment on the human population. At this moment, residents of the Washington, DC region – like those of 100 Chinese cities – are about to be living within a vast experimental Millimeter wave network to which they have not consented – all courtesy of American taxpayers," stated Dr. Devra Davis, President of the Environmental Health Trust. Davis proposed that the Trump Administration could provide funds for research and training by implementing 2 cents per month fee on all wireless devices, their manufacturers and network providers. "Training and research in bioelectromagnetics including the evaluation of new technologies is essential before universal deployment".
"This work shows that the same parts of the human skin that allow us to sweat also respond to 5G radiation much like an antenna that can receive signals. We need the potential adverse health impacts of 5G to be seriously evaluated before we blanket our children, ourselves and the environment with this radiation."
Research studies from the Dielectric Spectroscopy Laboratory of the Department of Applied Physics, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, headed by Dr. Yuri Feldman, indicate that millimeter and submillimeter waves may lead to preferential layer absorption. The number of sweat ducts within human skin varies from two million to four million. The researchers pointed to replicated peer research of these biological effects in laboratory research conducted in other countries and considered this mechanism of action well proven.
Today's cellular and Wi-Fi networks rely on microwaves – a type of electromagnetic radiation utilizing frequencies up to 6 gigahertz (GHz) in order to wirelessly transmit voice or data. However, 5 G applications will require unlocking of new spectrum bands in higher frequency ranges above 6 GHz to 100 GHz and beyond, utilizing submillimeter and millimeter waves – to allow ultra-high rates of data to be transmitted in the same amount of time as compared with previous deployments of microwave radiation.
"Most people are unaware that these waves are cycling several billion times per second. 75 GHz is in fact 75,000,000,000 cycles per second, " stated Davis about these frequencies rapidly penetrating the skin.
Dr. Paul Ben-Ishai pointed to research that was commissioned by the U.S. Army to find out why people ran away when the beam touched them. "If you are unlucky enough to be standing there when it hits you, you will feel like your body is on fire." The U.S. Department of Defense explains how: "The sensation dissipates when the target moves out of the beam. The sensation is intense enough to cause a nearly instantaneous reflex action of the target to flee the beam."
The conference at the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies at Hebrew University (IIAS) was organized in cooperation with the U.S. National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and the Environmental Health Trust (EHT).
Verizon just announced that 5G networks will be tested in 11 U.S. cities. 5G Networks will involve the deployment of millions of antennas nationwide, thousands in each city, because millimeter waves cannot easily travel through buildings or other obstacles. Proposed installations have led to public outcry in residential areas where homeowners do not want antennas mounted at their yards or near schools.
Several researchers at the conference raised concerns that current regulations are not adequate to protect public health.
"There is an urgent need to evaluate 5G health effects now before millions are exposed. We need to know if 5G increases the risk of skin diseases such as melanoma or other skin cancers," stated Ron Melnick, the National Institutes of Health scientist, now retired, who led the design of the National Toxicology Program study on cell phone radiofrequency radiation.
Dariusz Leszczynski, PhD, Chief Editor of Radiation and Health, stated that the international organization – called ICNIRP – developing recommendations for public exposure limits of these higher frequencies was planning to classify all the skin in the human body as belonging to the limbs rather than to the head or torso. Leszczynski cautioned that, "If you classify skin as limbs – no matter where the skin is – you are permitted to expose it more than otherwise."
"The use of sub-terahertz (Millimeter wave) communications technology (cell phones, Wi-Fi, network transmission antennas) could cause humans to feel physical pain via nociceptors, " stated Dr. Yael Stein, MD, who wrote a letter to the Federal Communications Commission about 5G Spectrum Frontiers.

Great article, and I agree about Triclosan but since antimicrobials make bugs stronger and may weaken our defenses, I prefer boosting my immune system to applying a pesticide all over my house and office. In addition, the Building Biology Guidelines (published in Germany in 1976 and introduced in the US in 1987 via http://buildingbiology.net) consider electromagnetic fields and the whole range of ecological options promoted by LEED. It's about time we all applied its precautionary approach in all buildings. As Angela Cinader Tsiang <firstname.lastname@example.org> wrote me yesterday : The California Medical Association, the CA branch of the AMA, wrote this in December 2014 “peer reviewed research has demonstrated adverse biological effects of wireless EMF including single and double stranded DNA breaks, creation of reactive oxygen species, immune dysfunction, cognitive processing effects, stress protein synthesis in the brain, altered brain development, sleep and memory disturbances, ADHD, abnormal behavior, sperm dysfunction, and brain tumors”

Airport body scanners & their radiation risks
In reference to subject matter and below 'HEALTH NEWS' would you know by any chance, the difference in technology what is now used in AUS, compared to the USA, and what are the risk concernes of what is used in AUS?
Prior I returned to AUS in 1986 - I used to fly out of Switzerland on weekly basis, mainly to the ME Countries and North and East African Nations, but also to the USA and South America where I was in charge as Project Design Manager, of commercial properties, Hotels, Hospitals, Commercial Bldgs, Pharmaceutical Research and Production Plants, etc. which were designed in Switzerland inclusive the Project Management, of which I was in charge. At that time, I was seriously advised to always try to not go through the Air Port Scanners and I guess out of 10, 8 gave me that option.
From 1996 to 2000 I flew every week to Sydney and back to Melbourne again, my Position was in Sydney, but at the weekend I wanted to be at home. Most of the time, I was allowed not to go through the scanner. Further, some weeks ago, I was also informed by a Swiss specialist in the medical field, that AUS is using 'Ultrasounds' too unrestricted as it harms our body and can have immediate noticeable affects, which I personally experience now twice. The last time last AUG 2016 hence I researched this subject matter a bit and also asked Switzerland about their recommendation, which remained the same, not to go through the scanner.
I would much appreciate to hearing from you about your views and knowledge on these scanner health issue. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you kindly.
Best Regards and have a pleasant weekend.
Are airport body scanners a radiation risk?
March 20, 2017 by admin in Health News with 2 Comments
“Next in line. Please step onto the platform. Feet wide apart, place your hand behind your head.”
*Rotating arm of the scanner moves around you* .
“Ok. Please step out.”
If you travel through the US airports in the past few years, you will notice the security guards saying one or more of these lines.
Each traveler is required to pass through a full body scanner before they are allowed to board the plane.
There are two types, 1) Backscatter X-ray which uses a low-intensity X-ray beam that moves at high speed to scan the entire body including cavities; and
2) Millimeter wave scanners which uses non-ionizing electromagnetic radio waves in the millimeter wave (30-300 gigahertz) spectrum to generate images of what lies directly beneath the clothing and near the skin.
Initially, there were more backscatter X-ray machines in airports; however, in May 2013 the millimeter wave scanners replaced all backscatter X-ray machines in the US.
This change was made to uphold the Federal Aviation Administration and Reform Law of 2012 that stated that all full body scanners operated in airports by the TSAR must use Automated Target Recognition software (AIT). What is AIT you may ask? AIT is a software that replaces the picture of the naked body with an animated-like representation.
Here’s how the aviation security used to see with their backscatter X-ray machines.
I’m sure you agree with me that it doesn’t leave much to the imagination.
Now the images produced by the scanner are not as violating –
Now the question is how safe are the full body scanners?
TSA has come under much scrutiny for the implementation of these devices, but what does the movement of this rotating arm means for our heath as it bounces wavelength off our bodies to generate images in an effort to keep us all safe?
According to TSA, the health risks associated with the full body scanners are minimal to none in comparison with using a cell phone or radio, and is way less than what we are exposed to during flying.
However, after much investigation, it was revealed that the ionizing radiation emitted by the backscatter X-ray machines are cancer causing as they damage our cells and DNA.
It can be argued that the result of these investigations is one of the major reasons that TSA opted to replace all backscatter machines with the millimeter wave scanners.
Technically, there has not been enough research and experiments on the millimeter wave scanner to determine that they are safe.
First, a research paper published in 2012 in the journal Radiation Research admits that the safety of millimeter wave body scanners is “difficult-to-impossible to prove using publicly accessible data.“
This means that TSA’s claims on the safety of the scanners are based on their opinion and it is not scientifically proven to be non-hazardous for your body.
Secondly, there is a belief that since long wavelengths belong to a ‘non-ionizing’ class of radiation, they only raise the temperature of your cells and tissues but do not have a harmful effect on your proteins and DNA.
But this is not decisively proven and a Russian paper published in 1993 showed that millimeter waves can have a negative effect on the cellular survival of DNA, RNA, & proteins, and shorten their lifespan.
The truth is the radiation produced by the millimeter wave is used in the treatment of skin cancer, which means that it does have an effect on human cells.
The purpose of applying the millimeter wave to the treatment of cancer is for it to destroy the cancer cells.
Frankly speaking though, these waves have no way to determine if the cells in our body are good or bad.
Let’s think logically for a second, if these waves emitted to our bodies have no way of determining if the cells in our body are good or bad, then simply put won’t these waves destroy the good cells that are present?
Over and over research have shown that thermal changes in our body can change the structure of cells and DNA, and this is exactly the kind of damage wavelengths from the millimeter wave scanners can inflict on our cells.
They have the ability to alter the natural structure of our cells and DNA.
What usually leads to cancer?
Changes in our cells and DNA.
So yes, it may be true that the dosage of the radiation that we are exposed to during the screening process is low and the process is quick, and there is no real proof that using the millimeter wave scanners will cause cancer, but should we just sit there and wait until there is enough evidence to prove that full body scanning at airports are carcinogenic?
Constant exposure increase the risk of cancer!
So what then can you do to in the meantime to protect ourselves?
Say no to the full body scan!
No, not like a protest; just let the TSA officer know that you would like a pat down instead of a full body scan.
It is actually our legal right to choose between the two.
The choice was actually affirmed by the D.C. Court of Appeal in 2012.
Yes, we would prefer to do neither as a pat down can be uncomfortable, but realistically speaking, in the world that we are living in where terrorism is rampant, how do we know who to trust?
Therefore, some form of screening is important. If you are comfortable and have sufficient time before boarding the plane, opt for the pat down and skip the possibility of millimeter waves scanners affecting our health.
After all, prevention is better than cure.

ABI Research, North America
Smart water meter connections to rise, while smart electricity meters installations slow
Water utilities will account for the bulk of smart meter connections in the next 4-5 years, forecast to reach 1.2 billion in 2022.
According to ABI Research, North America accounted for the largest number of smart water meter installations in 2016, however, Europe is expected to marginally surpass North America's connection growth and hold the largest ‘install base’ by 2018.
"As more people migrate from rural areas to urban cities, increasing water security concerns will fuel smart water meter growth. Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) network technologies both cellular and non-cellular connectivity solutions will also further enable water utilities to incorporate smart metering into their organizational workflows.
Across all metering markets, smart meter rollouts are predominantly driven by regulatory mandates based on government policy," says an ABI release.

The firm adds that apart from China, the pace of smart electricity meter installations will slow down in the short term.
Adarsh Krishnan, senior analyst at ABI Research, explains that the decrease in smart electricity connections is result of "the delayed implementation of large metering projects planned for Western Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region."
The release adds that the UK government, which first mandated a nationwide rollout of smart meters by 2014, is still experiencing delays; UK smart meter penetration rates are still less than 10% at the end of 2016.
In India, of 15 ongoing pilot projects, seven projects have not yet started. In Brazil, energy regulatory agency ANEEL changed its ambitious goal of replacing all electricity meters with smart meters to requiring only new builds use smart meters.
Sensus Japan begins water meter reading deployment using mission critical IoT
Sensus Japan, along with local partners KDDI and Mirait Technologies, have begun rolling out its ‘FlexNet’ solution for remote water meter reading in mountainous areas.
The high power, long range radio communication solution, FlexNet, is expected to improve the efficiency of meter reading operations, especially for the elderly living in mountainous areas in Hakone, Japan, where meters have been difficult to reach.
