Have you met Élianne Adams?

Élianne Adams, is a self-proclaimed tropical climate Princess, so how she managed to be born and live in snowy Ontario, Canada is a complete mystery. She loves to read (and write) romances that lure you into different worlds, the kinds that suck you in until the very end. Her paranormal romance books feature sexy as sin fire breathing dragons, gryphons, phoenixes, and jaguars. If those sexy Alpha shifters aren’t quite up your alley, she’s also got wolves coming soon.

A note from Élianne:
I have four different series that are currently out and growing:
  • My Return to Avalore series features dragon, phoenix, and gryphon shifters... all of them are scorching hot.
  • The Dragon Blood series, well... is all about dragon shifters. If you like sexy Alphas who will do stop at nothing to protect their mates, then this series is for you.
  • My Dark Wolves series is set in Northern Ontario, Canada, and features wolf shifters that will make you want to howl.
  • And finally, my Deadly Whispers series (this one is still in its infancy) has two novellas. They feature all the creatures that go bump in the night:  demons, werewolves, witches, angels, you name it, they're in there.

The book that launched my career was...

Although Shifters in the Spring is a newer set, I think it has had the most impact to launch my career. For the first time ever, I was listed on the USA Today Bestseller list, and was exposed to so many new readers. The effects of this release is still leaving me in awe of the wonderful paranormal romance readers out there. Shifters in the Spring is jam packed with so many amazing, and hard working authors. I'm truly blessed to have been a part of it. My story in that set was His Secret Dragon. It's from my Dragon Blood series, and was so much fun to write. I mean, how can you go wrong with a sexy dragon, a strong female, and a little bundle of joy to make your heart melt?

Spring is in the air and these sexy shifters are on the prowl!

The book that made me cry...

Rise of the Phoenix, book two in the Return to Avalore was definitely the one that made me cry the most. It didn't just make me cry, but it made me "ugly cry." And I adore this story because of it.

Shattered by bitter rejection, Brienne Roberts flees Avalore. Taken in by the Erritols, she's stunned at the kindness displayed by her supposed sworn enemies. Evan Mayfield, her named mate, will stop at nothing to eliminate all threats to his people. Discovering Brienne living with the man-beasts disgusts and infuriates him, but he must do his duty—to bring her back to face justice with her people, and himself...

The hero I want to find in my bed is...

Oh my... how do I choose only one? I'm going to say, Jace from Finding His Dragon. Jace is more than just a strong Alpha male. He's got a huge heart, and a body that just won't quit. He's sexy in all the ways that matter, from his mind to every last inch of him.

After months of torment at the hands of her own clan, Charlotte is sold to a rival clan. She refuses to be claimed by a man who is known for his mistreatment of women -- so she runs. The last thing she wants, or expects to find, is her mate, but that's precisely what happens. If only she could stop running long enough to take what is rightfully hers.

My favorite female character is...

She would have to be Stella Montrose, from my Dragon Blood series. She's been through a lot, and even though life seems to be piling more on her, she does what needs to be done to make sure she'll be okay in the end. Of course, when her mate Brycen realizes what she's about to do, he steps in and stops her from doing something that would alter both their lives forever. Things get much better for her from that point on, and a whole lot of sexiness ensues, but that's besides the point. Stella is strong and capable, and willing to do whatever it takes. You've got to admire that in a woman.

Trapped in her own body, she-dragon Stella Montrose has no choice but to find her mate. Whether he likes it or not, he either has to claim her, or set her free. Otherwise she'll lose the ability to shift. Sounds simple -- but every time she gets near him, he disappears...
